StemCyte_Logo-160 x 160As COO and CMO, Dave helped the founder and former J & J executives create StemCyte, one of the largest, most racially diverse, and highest quality cord blood stem cell banks in the world. Now located in the US, India and Taiwan, StemCyte has supplied over 1,700 cord blood products for over 70 life-threatening diseases to over 250 leading worldwide transplant centers.  Dave created the family cord blood banking business unit and oversaw U.S. and Taiwan private bank operations and lead global marketing efforts.


Bristol-Myers-Logo 160 x 160As VP, Global New Business Development, Dave led a globally-focused new product business unit within the Mead Johnson Nutritionals Division. He built a cutting-edge innovation center, which became the subject of a BMS case study. Later as VP, Global Franchise Management, a chief marketing officer role, Dave oversaw the infant, children’s, women’s health and adult nutrition global franchises. His team created Viactiv Soft Calcium Chews, later sold to Johnson & Johnson. Dave alsMJN-logo-3c-pos-standardo co-founded, and served as Executive-in-Residence, VP, New Ventures and BMS liaison within the Sherbrooke Capital Health & Wellness venture capital fund in Boston MA.



Arm_and_Hammer_Logo 160 x 160As General Manager, Household Products, Dave had P&L responsibility for baking soda, carpet deodorizers and new cleaning products.  Previously as Director of Marketing, Personal Care, his teams drove Arm & Hammer Dental Care toothpaste to the #3 market share position and launched the Arm & Hammer antiperspirant line.



JandJ_logo 160 x 160As Category Marketing Director, Suncare, Dave led the restructuring of the consignment business model and introduced many new products including the first-ever SPF 30 broad spectrum sunblock and new brands, Johnson’s Baby Sunblock and Piz Buin U.S. (via acquisition).  As Group Product Director, Baby Toiletries, he returned Johnson’s Baby Shampoo to dominant share thru an aggressive anti-private label advertising campaign, new value packaging, male advertising and the introduction of a new conditioning shampoo line extension.
